Hooray, I made it to six weeks, Aug 18th and my hair is holding up, with my weekly maint of course.
Well folks since I hate washing/doing my hair (more pleasurable now that I'm natural), I've decided to push it to the max, I know yucky right? But my hair is not smelling and I have a product that cleanses the scalp and I can rinse my twists out in small groups, so I am not worried.
When some people twist their hair, they first plait at the root and twist the rest. I experimented on the front row where my hair is the shortest and always unraveled. They lasted for awhile, so I decided to do the rest of the hair, a section at a time.
Let's see how this pans out.!!!

Aug. 18, 2012 - Update:
I re-did the entire front of my head, take out two, plait and twist one (wanted to make them a little bigger). It took a little longer than I thought to take out the twists, with new hair growth and with stray away hair, it caused my hair to seem like it was coming from one huge twist. Hopefully with me starting with a plait this time will keep my roots from merging together. We shall see!!!

Micro Twists - 32 day update
August 6th marks 32 days for my Micro Twists. With proper maintenance it will look just as good. My hair type unravels no matter what you do, so I have to re-twist the front, sides and underneath the bottom. I am pushing for 6 weeks, see ya then!!!

Twist for the tiny tots - first application
Amorrae is 5yrs old and her grandmother wanted her hair done. After her hair washing, I applied Kinky Curly Knot Today leave in conditioner and then added the Kinky Curly Curling Custard (for steps; see my How to do - Micro 2-strand twists).
