Hello all and welcome to my blog on Natural Hair Care. I am in no way a expert but I don't mind sharing my personal experiences.
I started this journey in 2008, it wasn't my intention to go natural, I was about 6-8 months without a perm and was undecided what I wanted to do next.
I never was one to go to the hairdresser every two weeks, it may last for about 2-3 months and then I would do braids, weaves or wear a ponytail for a while and then back to perms. It was a vicious cycle for the "creamy crack" Lol.
Anyway, one day in 2008, I added water and grease to my roots and saw a curl, I decided to wait it out and see if my entire head would curl. Boy ole Boy was I in for a treat. I was so elated to see that my natural curl was "the curl" I'd always dreamt of.
It's 2012 and I decided to document my journey..... Stayed tuned!!!
